Do you run a restaurant or hotel on a cove?
Arena shows skippers where to eat or stay at each cove, with opening hours, service to the boat and highlights. Being listed is free and on merit: no venue pays.
Free and on merit
Arena charges neither venues nor users. A venue is listed if it meets the conditions and its details can be checked. If more than six qualify at one cove, the six best rated are shown.
Who can be listed
Restaurants, beach bars, beach clubs, bars and hotels that meet one of these two conditions:
- They are on the beach itself or on the front line, 100 m or less from the shore of the cove.
- They serve boats: they deliver food to boats anchored in the cove or pick guests up by tender.
What to send
- Opening hours by season: the opening and closing dates (for example, 1 May to 31 October) and the hours of each day.
- Service to the boat: whether you deliver to the boat or pick up by tender, how to ask for it and your VHF channel if you have one.
- Up to 3 concrete, checkable highlights of 60 characters at most: for example, “Catch of the day” or “Tender pick-up from the anchorage”.
- Your own photos, or photos under a licence that allows publishing them, with the author's name.
- Your official website, phone number and the link to your Google Maps listing.
How it is checked
Each detail is published only if at least two sources confirm it, and one of them is your official website or your Google Maps listing. Highlights follow the same rule. Opening hours appear only when confirmed; otherwise Arena says “Opening hours not confirmed”, never “open”. Venues are reviewed every season: let us know when something changes.
