Cala Bassa is a cove in Sant Josep de sa Talaia, Ibiza. Sheltered from E, SE, S, SW, W and NW winds.
A beach of fine white sand about 220 m long, ringed by pine woods and centuries-old junipers, with clear, calm and shallow water. There are rocky stretches on both sides, and from the rocks you can see sa Conillera. A cove with plenty of services (several restaurants on the sand): good for a whole day of swimming and lunch on the beach, and for the sunset.
Arena suggests 10 spots to anchor on sand, clear of Posidonia; the closest to the meadow is 20 m away.
Approximate depth: 6.7 m (EMODnet bathymetry).
Buoy field closed this season (checked on 19/10/2026)
Planned field that was never installed: no buoys in 2026.
Anchoring on Posidonia is forbidden: the app shows the meadow on the map and warns you if the anchor would land on it.
