Cala de Xuclar is a cove in Sant Joan de Labritja, Ibiza. Sheltered from NE, E, SE, S, SW and W winds; exposed to N and NW winds.
A small cove about 2 km from Portinatx, sheltered by pines and flanked by traditional boat sheds. The sand turns to gravel and rock at the water's edge, so water shoes help; the water is clear and the rocks on either side are ideal for snorkelling. A peaceful spot with a fish shack open in summer.
Arena suggests 1 spots to anchor on sand, clear of Posidonia; the closest to the meadow is 20 m away.
Approximate depth: 7.3 m (EMODnet bathymetry).
Anchoring on Posidonia is forbidden: the app shows the meadow on the map and warns you if the anchor would land on it.
