Cala Tarida is a cove in Sant Josep de sa Talaia, Ibiza. Sheltered from N, NE, E, SE and S winds; exposed to SW and W winds.
A wide beach of fine, bright sand about 260 m long, split into several sections by small rocks, with shallow turquoise water. The bay is fairly enclosed: it is a good summer anchorage, and nights are calm when the wind is from the north. A family atmosphere, water sports and plenty of restaurants on the shore.
Arena suggests 7 spots to anchor on sand, clear of Posidonia; the closest to the meadow is 63 m away.
Approximate depth: 4.8 m (EMODnet bathymetry).
Anchoring on Posidonia is forbidden: the app shows the meadow on the map and warns you if the anchor would land on it.
