Platja des Copinyar is a beach in Formentera. Sheltered from N, NE, E and NW winds; exposed to S and SW winds.
The eastern end of Migjorn beach, at the foot of La Mola, with sand and a sandy seabed that runs well out to sea, easy for swimming. Next to it is the small Es Copinar resort, with restaurants and beach bars close to the shore. It takes its name from the warty venus clams (escopinyes) that used to be plentiful here.
Arena suggests 18 spots to anchor on sand, clear of Posidonia; the closest to the meadow is 162 m away.
Approximate depth: 0.9–6.9 m (EMODnet bathymetry).
Anchoring on Posidonia is forbidden: the app shows the meadow on the map and warns you if the anchor would land on it.
