Platja de Cala Carbó is a beach in Sant Josep de sa Talaia, Ibiza. Sheltered from NE, E and SE winds; exposed to SW, W and NW winds.
A cove of coarse sand and gravel, about 70 m long, with fishermen's boathouses, at the foot of Puig Pelat and inside the Es Vedrà, Es Vedranell and Western Islets nature reserve. It faces west and is exposed to westerly and north-westerly winds, though the water is usually very calm; the seabed is sand, pebbles and posidonia, with plenty of life by the rocks. There are sunloungers and restaurants, and at sunset the water turns orange and pink.
Deep water close to the shore: check the app to see the anchoring spots.
Anchoring on Posidonia is forbidden: the app shows the meadow on the map and warns you if the anchor would land on it.
