Platja de Cala Vedella is a beach in Sant Josep de sa Talaia, Ibiza. Sheltered from NE, E, SE and S winds; exposed to SW, W and NW winds.
A wide cove of fine sand set between cliffs and pine-covered hills, on the west coast of Ibiza. The water is clear and shallow over sand and weed, and the bay is fairly well sheltered from the prevailing winds, so small boats lie at anchor here all year. There are fish restaurants, bars, shops and pedal boats; very family-friendly, and a good place to watch the sunset from the boat.
Deep water close to the shore: check the app to see the anchoring spots.
Anchoring on Posidonia is forbidden: the app shows the meadow on the map and warns you if the anchor would land on it.
