Platja de ses Illetes is a beach in Formentera. Sheltered from N, NE, E, SE, S and SW winds; exposed to W and NW winds.
A beach of fine white sand about 450 m long on the west shore of the Es Trucadors peninsula: the southern stretch of Ses Illetes, inside Ses Salines Natural Park. Turquoise, clear and shallow water over posidonia meadows, with the Ses Illetes islets just offshore. One of Formentera's signature beaches, very busy in summer, with restaurants next to the sand.
Arena suggests 16 spots to anchor on sand, clear of Posidonia; the closest to the meadow is 67 m away.
Approximate depth: 0.6–6.3 m (EMODnet bathymetry).
Anchoring on Posidonia is forbidden: the app shows the meadow on the map and warns you if the anchor would land on it.
