Platja de ses Figueretes is a beach in Ibiza. Sheltered from N, NE, SW, W and NW winds; exposed to SE winds.
An urban beach of fine white sand, about 400 m long, made up of several stretches separated by rock groynes and linked by a seafront promenade, 1 km from the centre of Ibiza Town. The water is turquoise and shallow over sand with patches of rock, and the enclosed bay shelters it from strong wind and swell. From the shore you can see the islets of sa Corbeta and ses Rates and the walls of Dalt Vila; there are sunloungers, lifeguards and many restaurants along the promenade.
Arena suggests 14 spots to anchor on sand, clear of Posidonia; the closest to the meadow is 20 m away.
Approximate depth: 2.6–4.6 m (EMODnet bathymetry).
Anchoring on Posidonia is forbidden: the app shows the meadow on the map and warns you if the anchor would land on it.
