Ses Salines is a cove in Sant Josep de sa Talaia, Ibiza. Sheltered from N, NE, E, W and NW winds; exposed to S and SW winds.
A long curve of very fine white sand facing south, backed by pines, junipers and dunes, with views of Es Freus and Formentera. The water is crystal clear and shallow (about 0.85 m deep 25 m out) over sand and posidonia, and at the eastern end there are rocky nooks with natural pools. Full services, with beach bars on the sand.
Arena suggests 17 spots to anchor on sand, clear of Posidonia; the closest to the meadow is 20 m away.
Approximate depth: 2.9–8 m (EMODnet bathymetry).
Buoy field with no confirmed status (checked on 19/10/2026): do not count on a buoy
PortsIB had it uninstalled in June and planned to open it gradually; nothing confirms it since. Check the booking site before you go.
Anchoring on Posidonia is forbidden: the app shows the meadow on the map and warns you if the anchor would land on it.
Booking required for groups of 5 or more.
